We are the city’s oldest No-Kill, non-profit animal adoption shelter dedicated to saving Austin’s homeless cats and dogs by educating our community.
Formed in 1952, the Austin Humane Society is Austin's largest, longest standing no-kill, non-profit animal shelter.
Last year we served over 9,400 animals and we hope to serve 10,000 in 2012!

Austin Humane Society has hundreds of dogs, cats, puppies and kittens available for adoption to loving homes starting for $85-$100 dependent on the animals age. Each of our animals is spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on shots when they leave our shelter. Stop by today to meet your new family member!
